Robert always cared deeply about the happiness of others, and his kindness touched so many lives. He was also very private about his struggles, which is why few people knew he had been battling Polycythemia Vera, his third cancer diagnosis. On April 23, Robert passed away, unable to overcome the challenges his body faced. He could not recover from the damage and stress he had endured from this life altering disease. Your contribution will help advance research toward ending it in our lifetime.

Story

The family of Robert would like to thank everyone for the calls, messages, well wishes, and prayers received during his recent illness and surgeries. This has been a very difficult journey, and we are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support. Robert was a wonderful friend to many, a father of two, a proud “Grumpy” to four, and my partner in life for 24 years and two days. Your support helps Health Tree continue its important work in finding a cure for PV , and may spare another family from this life changing tragedy!
