Dr. Malek is a physician scientist and professor of hematology/oncology working at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. He obtained his MD from the University of Hamburg/Germany and subsequently trained in Molecular Biology at Johns Hopkins. He completed clinical training in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and a combined fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Johns Hopkins and Columbia University.
