My name is Artur Jurczyszyn. I am a professor from the University of Cracow, Jagiellonian University. I have worked with my Lama patients for the last 30 years. In my work, it's very important to support them. Of course, chemotherapy and immunotherapy are crucial things, but supporting them is very important. First thing, we are doing erythropoietin in these patients. Every three weeks, we are giving the injection because of anemic. Also, bone disease is a problem and we are supporting bisphosphonides like Zometa or Denosumab. We are also a little original in Cracow because we are organizing rehabilitation terms for our patients. Every year, we are doing this like two or three times. This period is three times and patients are very happy about this. During my work, I am a hematologist for many years, I see big progress regarding supportive care. Especially now, when immunotherapy is the first point, we should remember that this is a cancer of the immune system. In this immune system, we should think about acyclovir, antibiotics and IVIG, especially when a patient has bisphosphonides, bispecifics or CAR-T cells. I think the lifespan for my Lama patients is very long and I am happy that I can support my patients.
