I was diagnosed with myeloma in November, started quadruplet therapy (DVRd) in mid December. No problems with the infusions so far. However, I started Revlimid on Dec 24, spiked a high fever (103+) with chills 5 hours later. Eventually had to go the hospital because it wouldn't resolve and tested positive for Covid. Skipped a week of all treatments to recover and restarted last Friday.
Similar to the last time, I started spiking a fever with chills several hours after taking Revlimid, but controlled it with Tylenol. Same thing Monday. Tuesday it got worse and my symptoms weren't resolving. My doctor thinks I may still be reactivating the Covid that wasn't fully resolved so we are skipping another week of treatments to take Paxlovid and try to resolve it. I'm curious if this is potentially an inflammation purely from the Revlimid? Has anyone else experienced something like this? Thank you!
