Eliza Prickett
Eliza joined HealthTree in March 2026 as the Leukemia Patient Health Education Manager. Prior to joining HealthTree, she completed a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Brigham Young University and worked with a variety of underserved populations in government and healthcare settings, including Americorps and Utah Health Department. When not in office, Eliza enjoys reading, writing and learning new things about the world.

Dr. Joshua Lakin
Dr. Lakin works an senior physician on the inpatient palliative care consult service and intensive palliative care unit at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts and serves as the Director for the KidneyPal palliative care service dedicated to patients with advanced kidney disease. In these clinical roles, he works as part of an interprofessional team providing palliative care to hospitalized patients across a wide variety of services. In addition to his clinical teaching activities, he currently teaches at the Harvard Medical School Center for Palliative Care in multiple courses. In terms of research pursuits, Dr. Lakin is interested in working to build scalable and measurable models for delivering palliative care, especially high-quality communication. He spends his time primarily at the intersection of clinical palliative care and systems work in the Population Health Management and nephrology spaces. He has been leading programs aimed at improving communication in systems around the world.
