Adintori, MS, RD-AP, CSO, CDN, CNSC, for an informative webinar on nutrition for blood cancer patients, focused on practical strategies to help manage side effects, maintain strength during treatment, and support recovery and long-term survivorship. Designed for patients and caregivers, this session will cover building a flexible, sustainable eating pattern, coping with appetite and taste changes, practicing food safety, and making nutrition choices that support health during and after treatment—giving you practical, real-life tools to make eating easier and feel more confident about nutrition, one meal at a time.

Cynthia Cahoon, RN

Cynthia is a newborn ICU nurse by trade that has spent the last six years in the medical device industry educating nurses and doctors about devices that are new to their facility. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, traveling the world with her family, and creating Halloween animatronics for her annual front yard display. She has a passion for life-long learning and enjoys sharing what she learns with the people around her.

The panelist Peter Adintori, MS, RD-AP, CSO
Peter Adintori, MS, RD-AP, CSO

Peter A. Adintori, MS, RD-AP, CSO, CDN, CNSC – Peter is an outpatient oncology dietitian at Mount Sinai Queens Cancer Center and a PhD student in Rehabilitation Sciences at New York University. Peter specializes in the interdisciplinary integration of nutrition, physical therapy, and mental health services for patients living with and beyond blood cancers. Peter has also served as an Adjunct Professor and Guest Lecturer to graduate degree programs throughout New York City, including Teachers College Columbia University, New York University, and Pace University. Peter is the upcoming chair-elect for the ON DPG and has held leadership roles in the House of Delegates, the Practice Excellence Committee, and the CEO Advisory Panel at the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Peter blends clinical, research, teaching, and professional service expertise in his daily work to further the knowledge, skills, and influence of oncology dietitians in the field of supportive cancer care.
