BPDCN is a condition that will not go away without treatment. Without treatment, lesions may become more prominent or numerous. Other parts of the body may become affected (bone marrow, blood, lymph nodes, and/or central nervous system). How fast the disease spreads is variable, but it may be rapid, so making a diagnosis promptly is important.
