Dr. Michael Grunwald is a Leukemia Specialist at Levine Cancer Institute of Carolinas HealthCare System and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina. He received his medical degree in 2006 from Johns Hopkins University. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine as well as fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Grunwald joined Levine Cancer Institute in 2013 as a member of the Leukemia Division. He sees patients with leukemia, myelodysplasia and myeloproliferative neoplasms, and he participates in research aimed at understanding and treating these diseases.
