Scale back in Prior Authorizations
Announced today United HealthCare will be scaling back on there request for prior authorizations for some blood test, surgeries, diagnostic and meds. Not sure exactly which ones, but you may want to check with your healthcare provider to see if your's is included if they request one. Other insurers are sure to follow..

Cost of Participating in clinical Trials
If you're considering participating in a clinical trial and did not have the opportunity to hear my Financial webinar on May 5th go back and review it. Great information about your responsibility surrounding costs. Also some financial resources that may be able to help with those costs.

IVIG
Has anyone had IVIG therapy? My Dr is considering putting me on it. He said if he did because of low counts I would do it monthly for life. If you are doing this how is it going? Thanks

Starting treatment
I just started treatment with the 4 drug regime yesterday. The headache afterwords was tremendous. I read on a post Benadryl was helpful. Anyone else with this experience?
