Staying Covered: Navigating Insurance Changes When You’re Living with Blood Cancer

Event Description
Navigating insurance when you’re living with blood cancer—like multiple myeloma, leukemia, or lymphoma—can feel confusing and stressful, especially with recent changes to coverage rules, pre-authorizations, and out-of-pocket costs in 2025. In this free, patient-focused webinar, Diahanna Vallentine, HealthTree’s Financial Advocacy Program Manager, will break down what’s new, explain how these changes could affect your treatment, and share practical tips to help you avoid common insurance pitfalls. You’ll also learn how to handle denials, prepare for open enrollment, and find financial support programs. Whether you're newly diagnosed, in active treatment, or managing long-term care, this session will help you stay one step ahead and protect your access to the care you need.
