Audrey mentions the 2.0 Launch event and briefly explains the changes in the geographic groups that will be made, then introduces Rozalynn. Rozalynn shares more about the goals and future of the NorthEast chapter and Jeff's role in leading the group.

The panelist Audrey Burton-Bethke
Audrey Burton-Bethke

Audrey joined the HealthTree Foundation as the Myeloma Community Program Director in 2020. While not knowing much about myeloma at the start, she has since worked hard to educate herself, empathize and learn from others' experiences. She loves this job. Audrey is passionate about serving others, loves learning, and enjoys a nice mug of hot chocolate no matter the weather.

The panelist Jeff Adamson
Jeff Adamson

Diagnosed with MM and Chronic Kidney Disease in July of 2016. Went through induction therapy starting in August of 2016, then had his stem cells harvested in early December of that year. He had a successful Stem Cell Transplant at Dana Farber in January of 2017. He went on Revlimid and Velcade maintenance starting May of 2017. In December of 2021 Changed Velcade to Ninlaro. He is currently MRD negative and been off maintenance since April of 2023. Prior to getting MM he was sales manager for a small tooling distributor and enjoyed traveling around the country working with customers. He retired in the fall of 2018 to care for his wife who had been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Sadly, she passed away in March of 2019. He has 2 adult sons, one is a student and lives at home, the other is an underwriter and lives with his fiancée Just north of Boston. He enjoys making music, playing golf, pickleball and hiking with his dog Moose. He got involved with the coaching program a few years ago because he wanted this phase of his life to have a purpose and he found it helping others in the Myeloma Community.

Rozalynn Hite

Rozalynn Hite is the Patient Community Director and leads the HealthTree Coach program. She is also a myeloma caregiver to her husband Richard, and mother to three children. Rozalynn is passionate about providing support, education, and resources to help others live full and meaningful lives.

Brian Luke Seaward

Brian Luke Seaward is renowned nationally and internationally as an expert in the field of stress management, mind-body-spirit healing and corporate health promotion. The wisdom of Brian Luke Seaward, a TEDx speaker, can be found quoted in PBS specials, college lectures, medical seminars, boardroom meetings, church sermons, keynote addresses, and graduation speeches all over the world. It has been said that he looks like James Taylor, dresses like Indiana Jones, and writes like Mark Twain. In the role of traveler, visionary, mystic, healer and mentor, Brian Luke Seaward has created a legacy in the field of wellness and health promotion for all to share. In addition to teaching several thousand students at the University of Illinois, University of Maryland, The American University, the University of Colorado, and the University of Northern Colorado, not to mention thousands of workshop participants, he has shared the insights of meditation with the staff at the White House (’90-94), taught stress management techniques with various heads of state, and coached relaxation techniques to several Olympic athletes, Broadway actors, media personalities, and leaders of several multinational corporations. His corporate clients include Hewlett Packard, Procter & Gamble, Conoco Oil, Quaker Oats, John Deere, BP, Hewlett Packard, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Seagate, Mutual of Omaha,Organic Valley Dairy, the US Army, The US Air Force, and many others. An extremely popular speaker at various conferences from the National Wellness Institute and the Institute of Noetic Sciences to the National Fibromyalsia Association, Dr. Seaward leaves everyone inspired, enlightened and entertained. Through it all, he reminds us, stress knows no demographic boundaries.
