Linnley Sweeney

Linnley joined the Myeloma Crowd in January 2020 to share her passion for health. Her husband is a Childhood Cancer Survivor as well as a Cancer Biologist. Finding a cure, better treatments, and balancing life through treatment is a huge passion of their family. She's a mom of an energetic 6-year old, marathon runner, and Ironman finisher- fitness has been a huge part of her life and she loves to share it with others.

The panelist Amy Siston Ph.D, CST
Amy Siston Ph.D, CST

Amy Siston, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist at UChicago Medicine (UCM) in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience. Dr. Siston has specialized in psycho-oncology for almost 30 years and was integral in building the Psycho-Oncology Service at UCM where she provides individual therapy to cancer patients throughout the cancer care continuum. Recognizing that sexuality and reproductive concerns of people with cancer are under-addressed in the medical setting, Dr. Siston focused her continuing education in the area of sexual health and cancer, earning certification as a sex therapist from the American Association of Sexuality Education, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). Dr. Siston’s research interests involve coping and adjustment to cancer diagnosis and treatment, survivorship and sexual health. Dr. Siston is also involved in training mental health professionals with interests in psycho-oncology and sexual health and has frequently lectured on topics of cancer survivorship.
