This presentation will feature a Reflections Patient Speaker sharing their personal story with Revlimid, as well as Dr. Adrienne Alise Phillips, from Weill Cornell Medical College, who will provide information about important topics like:
• Multiple myeloma review and key points
• An overview of Revlimid
• Tips for patients talking with their healthcare team
• An overview of patient financial support services
Audrey joined the HealthTree Foundation as the Myeloma Community Program Director in 2020. While not knowing much about myeloma at the start, she has since worked hard to educate herself, empathize and learn from others' experiences. She loves this job. Audrey is passionate about serving others, loves learning, and enjoys a nice mug of hot chocolate no matter the weather.
Adrienne Alise Phillips, MD, MPH, received her medical degree from Brown University and her MPH from Harvard University. She completed a residency in internal medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital—Columbia Campus, where she also completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology. Dr. Phillips is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology at Weill Cornell Medical College. She has coauthored numerous papers for peer-reviewed medical journals. Dr. Phillips is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the National Medical Association. She is on the editorial board of Leukemia and Lymphoma. She is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology
