Event Description
Join us for the Denver Myeloma Round Table at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, located at 1550 Court Place, Denver, CO 80202, on September 12th from 9:00 am-2:30 pm MST to hear from top myeloma researchers. The day includes informative and engaging presentations about the latest in myeloma as well as breakout sessions for both newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory patients. The event will feature two sessions that include extensive Q&A. Registration and breakfast open at 8:00 am.

- Meeting date: Saturday, September 12th, 2026
- Registration opens, and breakfast starts at 8:00 am; the meeting begins at 9:00 am
- Location: Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. 1550 Court Place, Denver, CO 80202
- Event Rooms: Main room: Majestic Ballroom. Meals and breakout sessions: Vail Vallroom
- Included: parking, breakfast, lunch, and refreshments
- The meeting will be recorded and available to watch at a later time

Speakers & Moderators

Tara Gregory, MD, is a medical oncologist at the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute and Co-Director of the Plasma Cell Dyscrasia Program. She specializes in the treatment of multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, and other plasma cell disorders, with expertise in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies. Dr. Gregory is actively involved in clinical research and has dedicated her career to advancing treatment options and improving outcomes for patients with blood cancers.
Jorge Monge, MD, is a hematologist and medical oncologist at the University of Colorado specializing in multiple myeloma and other plasma cell disorders. He is actively involved in clinical research focused on advancing innovative therapies and improving outcomes for patients with blood cancers. Dr. Monge is committed to providing personalized, patient-centered care while helping bring the latest treatment advances to the myeloma community.
Peter A. Forsberg, MD, is a hematologist and medical oncologist at the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute specializing in multiple myeloma and other plasma cell disorders. He serves as Director of Translational Research and is actively involved in clinical trials focused on developing new treatment options for patients with blood cancers. Dr. Forsberg is dedicated to advancing innovative therapies while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Jeffrey V. Matous, MD, is a hematologist and medical oncologist at the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute with a special focus on multiple myeloma and other plasma cell disorders. He has been a leader in clinical research for more than two decades, helping bring innovative therapies and clinical trials to patients with blood cancers. Dr. Matous is dedicated to advancing myeloma care while providing personalized, patient-centered treatment.
Kate Mimken, RN, BSN, MSN, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner at the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute with extensive experience caring for patients with blood cancers. Throughout her oncology career, she has focused on helping patients navigate treatment, manage side effects, and maintain quality of life. Kate is passionate about patient education and empowering individuals and families with practical information to support their care journey.
