Bridging the Gap in Myeloma Survival: A CureTalks Interview with Jenny Ahlstrom

Event Description
What is the gap in myeloma survival? Currently the National Cancer institute provides data on the survival of myeloma patients and they report a life expectancy of just over 5 years. Myeloma specialists at myeloma centers of excellence have reported a life expectancy of over 10 years. This 5-year difference is the gap between what is and what could be!
Join us for a talk between Gary Peterson and Priya Menon of CureTalks to discuss with Jenny Ahlstrom, founder of HealthTree Foundation, how they are working to close that gap to connect myeloma patients with specialists and how specific types of education and coaching for myeloma patients brings better care to patients regardless of their zip code.
