Santiago Thibaud, MD, is Assistant Professor of Medicine (Hematology and Medical Oncology) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a member of the physician team at the Center of Excellence for Multiple Myeloma. Dr. Thibaud earned his MD from Centro de Educación Médica e Investigaciones Clínicas in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed Internal Medicine residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Thibaud did his fellowship training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Icahn Mount Sinai. He received the Young Investigator Award for Exemplary Abstract at the 2021 International Myeloma Workshop and First Prize for Oral Presentation at Icahn Mount Sinai’s Annual Research Day in 2021. Dr. Thibaud has a special interest in monitoring long-term patients and attending to conditions that may result from prior treatment.
