Clinical Expertise

Mr. Rifkin focus on new treatments and therapies in multi myeloma and those that help make transplant less toxic. His research efforts have been highlighted in over 60 publications. He serves as Trustee of Belle Bonfils Memorial Blood Center. He serves as Director of Cellular Therapeutics of Rocky Mountain Blood and Marrow Transplant Program. His awards includes National Marrow Donor Program, 1998; Top Doctors in Denver – 5280 Magazine in 2000 and 2004; Leukemia and Lymphoma Society – Man of the Year (Colorado), 2001 and America’s Top Physicians, 2005. Dr. Rifkin Education and Training includes High School Diploma from Thomas Jefferson H S in 1974, Bachelor of Arts from Colorado College in 1978, Colorado Springs, Colorado Medical School; Doctor of Medicine from University of Colorado School of Medicine, Denver, Colorado in 1982; Categorical Internal Medicine Intern from University of Colorado Hospitals, Denver, Colorado in 1982; Research Associate, Division of Medical Oncology from University of Colorado Health Science Center, Denver, Colorado; Categorical Internal Medicine Intern from Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, Denver, Colorado in 1984; Internal Medicine Resident from Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, Denver, Colorado in 1986; Medical Oncology/Hematology Fellowship from University of Arizona Health Sciences Center, Tucson, Arizona in 1988.
