Utah Multiple Myeloma Symposium at Huntsman Cancer Institute: September 10, 2016

There have been dramatic advances in the treatment of multiple myeloma in the past 15 years. To discuss these advances and a comprehensive view of the various specialities that are needed to support myeloma patients, Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah is holding a day-long myeloma seminar on September 10.
Frits van Rhee, MD, PhD from the Myeloma Institute at UAMS will be the Keynote Speaker and is joined by Djordje Atanackovic, MD of the Huntsman Cancer Institute and over 10 additional speakers to discuss topics like:
- Detecting minimal residual disease
- Imaging techniques for myeloma
- Kidney related issues
- Myeloma pain treatments
- Social worker support in myeloma
- Radiotherapy approaches in myeloma
- Approaches for newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory patients
