Do patients who have myelodysplastic syndromes progress to acute myeloid leukemia all have the same type of acute myeloid leukemia?

Do people who have their MDS turn into AML all have a certain type of AML? Is AML due to MDS more or less severe than other types of AML? Actually, you know, like it's called secondary leukemia, like ARAML with MDS related changes. Those patients tend to do not so good compared to patients, AML patients, particularly with good risk cytogenetics that we know like 821 translocation or in version 16. So those kind of core binding factor leukemia, those patients do much better with chemotherapy alone. But patients with MDS typically, they don't respond very well to chemotherapy, and that's why we need more newer treatments.
