James M. Rossetti, DO, is a hematologist specializing in the treatment of hematological malignancies and myeloid diseases, including myelodysplasia, acute myeloid leukemia, and myeloproliferative neoplasm. He also specializes in cellular therapy. Dr. Rossetti is a referral physician for the UPMC MDS Center of Excellence.

Dr. Rossetti is board-certified in hematology. He received his doctorate from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pa., and completed his internal medicine residency at St. Francis Medical Center, formerly in Pittsburgh. Dr. Rossetti completed his hematology/oncology fellowship at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital, in Pittsburgh, where he later served as assistant director of Cell Transplantation and assistant director of the fellowship program.

Dr. Rossetti's research interests include the development of improved treatment strategies for patients with MDS and acute leukemia. He has been recognized with the Allegheny County Medical Society Physician Volunteer Award and the National Chairman's Citation for Significant Commitment to the Mission of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
