Is my family at risk of developing CMML?

Is there a family risk of developing CMML?

CMML is in general not inherited. It's something that is acquired through someone's life.

Now there are certain risk factors which are becoming to come into focus about how some sort of predispositions may, create a situation where you get CMML, but that is not really well developed.

And that is particularly the case because these are such rare diseases prostate and breast cancer, which are more common.

We know more about the dispositions and the heritability of the disease. Less is known about CMML because it's so rare.
