Is chemotherapy used to treat follicular lymphoma?
Chemotherapy is used in follicular lymphoma. It's used in different circumstances. I would say that it's rare to use chemotherapy alone without combining it with, antibody therapy. So the standard some of the standard treatments in follicular lymphoma, when it's first diagnosed and patients require therapy, is to combine an antibody or immune therapy with chemotherapy regimens. And most of the time patients will get six cycles of that.
For patients, there's always a small chance that a patient with follicular lymphoma could, their lymphoma could become more aggressive. And then there are particular chemotherapies in combination with immunotherapies that are used in that situation. There are a number of different immune therapies targeted therapies, oral therapies that are frequently used in, the relapse setting for a patient.
But there may be, a reason that chemotherapy after other therapies, have been tried is also given at that time.
