What are potential roadblocks for Black and Latinx patients from CAR T access? That's a very complex question and I'm going to try to address it. I think the biggest issue is access to care. I mean, you know, these patients may have insurance issues that does not allow them to have access to these specific therapies. CAR T particularly is fairly intensive in terms of its need to be close to the hospital and also the follow-up. So you have to be within a certain distance of the center. There's close monitoring. There needs to be a good caregiver for them. So a lot of these patients may not have the means to do so. So this kind of brings up the very sensitive issue of, you know, socioeconomics and the economics of access to health care. Being fairly expensive, you know, if insurance doesn't cover all of it, even a small percentage of the cost of the CAR T can be very significant financially, especially for those who come from a lower socioeconomic status who don't have that much financial wealth to rely on. I also think within the minority communities, there's sort of, there might be a distress in the medical system and in clinical trials. So they may not be willing to enroll in clinical trials, which a lot of times is what gets you access to these therapies early on versus later on. And you can see that across multiple clinical trials that the percentage of, you know, African-American or Latinx patients as compared to Caucasian patients is very small in regards to what the population should be. So there is a lack of representation from these communities within the clinical trials, which I think we should work harder to eliminate. I guess it's just a very multi-level and it's very obvious that we have this disparity when it comes to the CAR T or T-cell therapies. Studies show that the minority usually just less receiving the CAR T treatment. For those, the people that live more than 60 miles away from the CAR T center or particularly they're in low-income households, the chance of taking CAR T is less. So I would say the insurance, income, location, logistic issues are really the main important factors for receiving less CAR T compared to counterpart white population.
