William Breen, M.D., is a Radiation Oncologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He serves as the Associate Research Chair in the department of Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Breen attended medical school at Mayo Medical School in Rochester, followed by Radiation Oncology residency at Mayo Clinic Rochester.

He specializes in treating brain tumors, lung cancer, lymphoma, and other CNS disorders using techniques including proton therapy, IMRT, SBRT, total skin electron beam therapy, and orthovoltage radiotherapy. Dr. Breen is the principal investigator on several studies, including ongoing clinical trials incorporating SBRT with immunotherapy for mesothelioma and utilizing 18F-DOPA PET and advanced MRI for glioblastoma.
