Dr. Yang is an Associate Professor at the Wayne State University School of Medicine and the Karmanos Cancer Institute. He is the Leader of the Hematology Oncology (Hematologic Malignancies) Multidisciplinary Team at Karmanos. He specializes in the management of leukemia, with primary research interests in investigating novel therapies for acute myeloid leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes. He is Director of the Hematology Course at the Wayne State University School of Medicine and is the Chairperson of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee at Karmanos.
