Description

Dr. Agarwal breakdowns of emerging data on BTK degraders in relapsed or refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia, highlighting how this next‑generation targeted therapy could overcome resistance seen with current BTK inhibitor

Transcript

My name is Amit Agarwal and I'm the Chief Medical Officer of Hematology at B1 Medicines. It's a great pleasure to talk about BGP 16673, which is our BTK degrader. So this is our first in class and potentially the most advanced BTK degrader in the clinic. We're testing it in several different B-cell malignancies and in particular I would like to call out our data in the relapse CLL population. So in a group of very heavily pre-treated patients, we have seen some very exciting results with this particular molecule. We see overall response rates in the 200 milligram dose, which is our dose that we will move forward with, of 94 percent. But more importantly at this meeting, we're sharing some important durability data. So at this meeting we're showing that after a follow-up of about 20 months now, we have a very robust durability in terms of both the 12 month, the 18 month, as well as the median PFS numbers for this particular study. And again, I think this is going to represent an important option for these patients and we're very excited about the next steps with this particular molecule. If our videos have helped you in any way and you're able to, please consider making a donation to help us continue this important work. Your gift will go three times as far when we reach $500,000 by the end of the year. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference and we're deeply grateful for your support.
