Danielle M. Brander MD completed her medical degree, internal medicine residency training, and fellowship in hematology/oncology at Duke University and Duke University Health System. Her clinical and research focus is in the care of patients with CLL/SLL and she directs the CLL & Lymphoma Clinical Research Program within the Duke Cancer Institute. Dr. Brander has served as site PI for diverse clinical trials of targeted therapeutics for CLL/SLL and other B-cell malignancies, collaborates on initiatives in chronic cancer care with the DCI Onc-Primary Care, and is involved in the National Alliance Cooperative Group in Clinical Trials serving as a Leukemia Committee member & CLL EVOLVE trial champion. She is dedicated to mentoring and medical education activities, as well as patient and caregiver educational initiatives.
