About

I am a board-certified medical oncologist and physician-scientist who specializes in the research and treatment of a variety of hematologic malignancies, which include myeloproliferative neoplasms, myelodysplastic syndromes, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and acute myeloid leukemia.

I currently spend the majority of my time in the laboratory investigating how the immune system is dysregulated in people with cancer and how novel therapeutics affect human immunity. Our lab primarily specializes in the study of antibodies, drugs that are commonly used in the treatment of cancer. We define how these drugs work using specialized models and then use this knowleged to engineer next-generation therapeutics.
