Rituximab
Rituximab is a medication often used to treat certain types of lymphoma. It's given either through a vein (IV infusion) or as an injection under the skin. This treatment works by targeting a specific protein (CD20) found on certain immune cells called B cells, which include many lymphoma cells. By attaching to CD20, Rituximab helps your immune system recognize and remove these cells from your body. It can be used by itself or alongside other treatments like chemotherapy.
