Concerned About Low Platelets: Advice & Experiences?
AI-generated title
During the routine CBC test of my father, I found the platelet count at (118) slightly lower than expected (150) and the purpura observed over the past couple of days. The oncologist has been informed. He is on VPD. Is this concerning and if any specific steps are needed for improving the platelets? Can I have some more info on platelet count and would appreciate if more experiences were shared around it to keep myself informed. Many thanks

Experiencing Slow IGA Recovery After IVIG?
AI-generated title
Has anyone else had IVIG transfusions for immune system after stem cell transplant? I had SCT may 28, 2024. I started maintenance chemo in September. The treatment wiped out immune system, a common occurrence. I learned there are 3 markers, IGA (sinuses and stomach) IGG, (viruses and bacteria), and IGM, (general immunity). I had two treatments a month apart. IGG went from 66 to 792. IGA marker will not budge. Anyone else have this issue. Does it just take longer for IGA to go back to normal? Thanks.
I’m just starting my remission maintenance regime after 7 cycles of induction RVD+Dara. Feeling very grateful about the progress this past year. Question does everyone usually get to continue the lower dose 10mg Revlimid for 21 day cycle or 30 days continuously? I’ll be getting one shot of DarZalex a month too hopefully 🙏🏼 Awaiting the results of my scans + BMB. Blessings and Good Health everyone 💪🪧

Managing Bone Disease: Seeking Recommendations?
AI-generated title
Hi Everyone, I'm two months past a stem cell transplant, doing well energetically, in remission. However I have a lot of bone disease in my spine, ribs and sternum, really bad (I've lost 6" in height). I am getting zometa, taking supplements, doing exercises. Can anyone recommend a hospital, doctor or PT program that specializes in dealing with bone disease from myeloma? Thanks.
