Clinical Expertise

Dr. Bhatnagar's research focuses on the development and application of novel therapies that are both effective and well tolerated for the treatment of poor-risk AML, particularly in the relapsed/refractory setting; the identification of (or greater in-depth characterization of) biologic subgroups within AML on the basis of cytogenetic and molecular data, and impact on prognosis; and minimal residual disease (MRD) evaluation and incorporating novel approaches to treating patients with MRD.
