Managing Revlimid Co-pay in California?
AI-generated title
Hello. My husband is newly diagnosed (June 2023.) He is now on Revlimid with an insanely high co-pay! We have been able to get the co-pay assist card for the last two months that he’s been on it. But now starting in January, he has to reapply. They only give 15,000 for the year which will cover about two months. We applied again, waiting on insurance approval, but running into a lot loopholes again. I guess things are more complicated with that assistant program if you are in California. After the two months we will have to look into other options. Does anyone else have suggestions on where to get help if you live in California? He has private insurance. We are new to all of this and a bit overwhelmed trying to keep up with it all!

Sharing What Keeps You Going

We are in the second week of the New Year! What has kept you motivated through your myeloma journey, and more? For me, it is the little things like snuggly hugs from my grandson.

Elevated Kappa: Any Benign Reasons?
AI-generated title
Hello! I am wondering if anyone might have insight on this. My mom was diagnosed with non-secretory myeloma in June. At that time, I joined a clinical study for immediate family members. I received my results back, and my Kappa Light Chain was elevated at 22.36. All other results were normal (no m spike and normal immunoglobulins - which was the same for my mom, though she had significant disease by that time as shown on a PET scan). I am therefore not eligible to be referred for follow up as the those items were normal. Does anyone know if Kappa Light Chain can be elevated for a benign reason? Thank you so much!

Cord Blood Banking: Experiences or Advice?
AI-generated title
Does anyone with children have experience with cord blood banking? My wife and I are expecting a baby soon and have the option -- though at a substantial cost -- of banking stem cells from the umbilical cord for future use in treatment of close family members (including me, potentially). My oncologist didn't have any particular recommendation, so I'm curious if others here have elected to do this or received guidance from their care teams?

Lingering Nausea & Appetite After SCT: Tips?
AI-generated title
I have a friend who had a SCT in Oct. She is still having issues with nausea and lack of appetite. She has reached out to her healthcare team but still having issues. I had a SCT 3/21 but did not have those issues, so I am asking if anyone else had those issues and how did you resolve them?
