Coffee and Rising M-Protein? Any Info?
AI-generated title
My husband has multiple myeloma, has plasmacytomas that were radiated prior to chemo and SCT. He had a very good result, no detection of active myeloma for a little under two years, is on Lena as maintenance treatment. His MProtein has now started to climb, doubling in the last two months. We have been reading up on diet and note a few articles on caffein and a potential influence on bone marrow, does anyone have any info on this? He is a moderate coffee drinker, about 2 cups a day. Thank you

Experiences With SMM Progression Pace?
AI-generated title
Hi I have smoldering myeloma IGA for about a year and before that had MGUS. I am being tested every three months and my results increase slightly with each test but I am still in low risk. I would like to know from others experience whether your test progressed at the same level each time or was there a sudden increase out of the blue.

Lingering Bloating After a Treatment Change?
AI-generated title
After 2 treatments with Revilimid (6 years) then Daratumamab ( less than 2 years) I was placed om Cyclophasphamide. To say I experienced extreme fatigue is an understatement. After 2 months they realized that it wasn't working. Not only that but my light chains shot way up. But this has been the gift that keeps on giving. I noticed that when I started to take this drug my belly became very bloated and uncomfortable. It presses against my diaphram and makes me very winded. Although I am now on Carflisomab ( with good results) my belly remains bloated. I am seeing GI specialist for this, but so far no go. Some others have suggested SOBI which is a small intestine bacterial infection, but I dunno. Anybody ever have this weird side effect?

Planning for an SCT After CAR-T?
AI-generated title
Has anyone had a CAR-T, and later a STEM CELL TRANSPLANT? (I declined SCT when I was diagnosed 5 years ago. After relapsing on multiple drugs, I had a successful CAR-T earlier this year. But in looking ahead for when it fails, I'm now considering a SCT. My oncologist is agreeable to this plan but says he has never heard of anyone having an SCT after a CAR-T (i.e., after a successful CAR-T eventually fails). Has anyone heard of this or considered it?
