Overview

This event will not be recorded. We encourage you to attend live.

This Gather Community Event is dedicated to individuals newly diagnosed with active multiple myeloma who are looking for connection, clarity, and community. Stepping into a new diagnosis can feel like learning an entirely new language, but understanding key medical terms and acronyms is a powerful step toward feeling informed and taking control.

What We Will Cover:

  1. Decoding the Jargon: We will kick off with a brief, straightforward guide to common myeloma terms, definitions, and abbreviations to help you navigate medical appointments with greater confidence.

  2. Community & Conversation: We will open the floor to discuss what this early stage feels like, share helpful resources, and connect with peers who truly understand what you are going through.

Important Note: To ensure a safe, private, and comfortable environment for open sharing, this event is NOT recorded. We encourage you to attend live.

Please note: this event is not designed for individuals who are newly diagnosed with MGUS or smoldering myeloma. We offer a separate group specifically for precursor conditions. Please visit our registration page or email cynthia@healthtree.org if you need help locating the precursor group.
