Bone Marrow Biopy Complications
Hello I was wondering if anyone here had complications w a BMB??
My brother has MM MDS and now CMML multiple biopsies but no issues til the last one
He got hospitalized w high WBC of 100 and weighloss the plan was to treat the high Fever aBC and build his strength and weight but they did a BMB discharged him and when home got fell cuz weakness only to discover during biopsy his right femora artery was punctured during the procedure went into heretic shock and had to coil the artery
It’s been 4 months and he barely can do anything without assistance
Weightloss is still an issue mm numbers are good but have no idea how to recover did home pt ot dietician without any progress
Any similar experience or advice would be appreciated
