Hello everyone. First, I just want to say that I empathize with all of you. MM is different for everyone, but as far as cancers go, we are lucky that there are many new treatments available that can prolong our lives, sometimes up to 20 years. What interests me however is disease free progression. I've rejected maintenance therapy of revlamid after my first ASCT. It affects my cardiovascular system and drains my energy even with aspirin. I'm a 64 year old male, and I've got to keep my job. So far I've maintained a low number of residual disease in my bone marrow with intermittent fasting, low carbs and lots of berries. Especially chokeberries which have twice the polyphenols as blueberries. Anyway, I have a question about supplentation with NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) and resveratrol. I'm afraid to ask my oncologist because he's just too old-fashioned, so I'm putting this out there to see if anyone can say if it's effects are positive or negative for someone in remission and not taking any other drugs. I've read a very technical article in nature entitled: NAD+ metabolism, stemness, the immune response, and cancer. But I'm left with more questions than answers. Anybody know if NMN supplements are good for us or not?
